Don't Give In

I have learned as I was growing up that God is always watching over us. Thus, we shouldn't ever listen to our fears and misgivings. This my friend is the ultimate choice that we as humans will ever have. We can choose to live in fear or we can choose to trust God and not give in to fear.

2nd Corinthians 1:10 says, "He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us. On Him we have set our hope that He will deliver us again."

God's promise to believers is that, no matter what happens to us, He is always working for our good, that is if we love Him and follow Him. If you are a believer, the Bible says that all things are working together for good. It doesn't say that all things are good but that they are working for our good. God can never do anything contrary to His character or He would then cease to be God. It doesn't say anywhere in the Bible that we will always like what God is doing in our lives just that it will always work out for our good and to the glory of God.

What this means is that you and I can stop listening to our fears. There is no difficulty, defeat, dilemma, disaster, or any other problem in the life of a believer that God can't make something good come out of it. There is absolutely no need to fear the future. If you read His word then you know what happens in the end!

Our fears reveal where you don't trust God in your life. Join me today and make a list of the top 5 fears that you can't seem to let go of and ask God to help you figure out why you can't let them go. Then, ask Him to replace the fear with courage, trust, and wisdom. Then you won't give in to fear and begin to trust in the Lord.

Expect God to start helping you learn to trust Him with each fear and sit back and watch as He helps you deal with them.
